A baby giant sea bass that hatched at the Aquarium in October is now on public view in the Redondo Canyon exhibit in the Southern California/Baja Gallery on the first floor.

Marine aquaculture is the farming of fish and other seafood in ocean waters. This industry is likely to play an increasing role in our future food system in this country and around the world. Seafood for the Future has created a tool to help the public learn more.

The Pacific Visions wing, the first major expansion project ever undertaken by the Aquarium, will be a 29,000-square-foot, two-story structure.
