Embark on a journey aboard a Harbor Breeze Cruises’ double-decker yacht with an Aquarium naturalist to visit one of the most distinctive sections of the local coastline and experience the wonders of Southern California’s urban ocean.

The Aquarium of the Pacific will host its ninth annual Urban Ocean Festival on Saturday and Sunday, April 28-29, 2018.

The nonprofit Aquarium of the Pacific is pleased to announce that Shelby, one of the Aquarium’s harbor seals, has given birth to a pup.

More than one hundred students from Jenny Oropeza Elementary and Cesar Chavez Elementary visited the Aquarium of the Pacific this week, thanks to a donation from Premier Long Beach.

The Aquarium of the Pacific has developed a new show for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Science on a Sphere®. Set to play daily in the Aquarium’s Ocean Science Center starting on March 15, the show traces human history from our species’ origins in Africa 300,000 years ago to our current population of 7.5 billion.

The exhibit features artwork made from and inspired by the science done on the Falkor, the institute’s research vessel.

Guests can party with the sea stars and learn about marine life and the environment at the Aquarium of the Pacific’s Latin-themed late night, Noche de Estrellas (Night of the Stars), on Friday, March 23, 2018, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

The diving community is also invited to explore volunteer diving opportunities in Southern California. Divers who show proof of certification with a photo I.D. will receive free admission.

The Aquarium of the Pacific’s thirteenth annual International Children’s Festival is a special festival for kids on the weekend of March 17-18, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
