Photo Exhibit Showcases Marine Life in Local Tide Pools
An exhibit of photographs by Patsee Ober will be on view at the Aquarium from March 16 to May 16, 2020. Ober will give a talk about her process, equipment, and inspiration in creating the photos on the evening of March 16.

New Sea Jellies Now on View Were Cultured at the Aquarium
Helvola sea nettles bred at the Aquarium are now on view in the Northern Pacific Gallery. This is the first time an aquarium in the United States has successfully cultured and raised this species.
Massive Sea Urchin Sculpture Installed on Aquarium’s Front Plaza
The Aquarium unveiled a new art installation on its front plaza on November 27. The sea urchin sculpture with spines that light up at night will be outside the Aquarium until May 2020.

Members of Congress Visit Pacific Visions Wing
On November 2, the Aquarium hosted U.S. Congressional Representatives Alan Lowenthal of California and Garret Graves of Louisiana for a meeting and tour of the new Pacific Visions wing. The visit was part of the American Congressional Exchange initiated by the Bipartisan Policy Center.
