Alicia Archer

Education Programs Manager

Alicia Archer oversees school, teacher, family, and youth programs.

Archer is dedicated to connecting people to nature and making science accessible. Archer has been in the informal education field since 2005 and has experience teaching and creating educational resources for a diverse range of learners. Archer’s areas of expertise include informal education and marine biology.

She is the programs chair and a steering committee member for the LA STEM Collective (Los Angeles Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Collective), a network of institutions with a mission for all learners to become creative, critical thinkers and doers. She holds a B.S. in zoology from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and a master’s degree in zoology from Miami University.
