Abigail Kucher
Assistant Curator of Mammals and Birds
Abigail Kucher is an assistant curator of mammals and birds at the Aquarium of the Pacific.
Kucher joined the Aquarium in 2024 and has over twelve years of experience working with marine mammals, primarily California sea lions and harbor seals. At the Aquarium of the Pacific, she also works with many bird species, including the diving sea birds, like pigeon guillemots and puffins. Kucher has a bachelor of arts degree in biological foundations of behavior, specifically animal behavior, from Franklin and Marshall College.
