The Aquarium received eighty submissions from high school students in twenty cities across Southern California for its inaugural High Tide Film Festival.

Photo Exhibit Showcases Marine Life in Local Tide Pools

An exhibit of photographs by Patsee Ober will be on view at the Aquarium from March 16 to May 16, 2020. Ober will give a talk about her process, equipment, and inspiration in creating the photos on the evening of March 16.

The Aquarium unveiled a new art installation on its front plaza on November 27. The sea urchin sculpture with spines that light up at night will be outside the Aquarium until May 2020.
