Aquarium Joins 1 Million Cards Campaign to Help Save the Vaquita Porpoise from Extinction

The campaign encourages Mexico’s incoming president to continue conservation initiatives to save the vaquita, which is found only in the Upper Gulf of California in Baja.

In 2018 the Aquarium celebrated its 20th Anniversary, completed milestones in the construction of Pacific Visions, hosted forums on aquaculture and climate change and Aquatic Academy courses, and conducted important conservation work.
