Murray Fisher recorded this Aquacast at the Aquarium on October 19, 2017. Fisher is the executive director of the New York Harbor Foundation and founder of the New York Harbor School.
He discusses the Billion Oyster Project and its goal to restore one billion live oysters to New York Harbor by 2035 and to engage the community in that effort. The project plants oysters in New York Harbor as a way to improve water quality, engage students in science learning, restore a native oyster species, and engage the community.
