In China, people celebrate the Moon Festival. In Japan, regional harvest festivals, or matsuri, are held. Chuseok is the traditional Korean fall festival. Celebrate the magic of fall through the arts and cultures of China, Japan, Korea, and the Philippines during the Aquarium of the Pacific’s seventeenth annual Autumn Festival. Held Saturday and Sunday, November 17-18, 2018, this festival offers a weekend of diverse learning opportunities and family entertainment.

The festival will feature live music and dance performances, cultural arts exhibits, and crafts. Throughout the weekend artisans and other vendors will be displaying and selling their works.

The Aquarium of the Pacific will present its Heritage Award to Rodney Kageyama on Sunday, November 18, 2018, at 1:40 p.m. Kageyama is an actor, animal advocate, and community leader for more than 35 years. Based in Los Angeles, he calls Little Tokyo his home with his charity volunteer work with the Japanese American National Museum, Japanese American Community and Cultural Center, East West Players, Nisei Week, Cherry Blossom Festival, and Asians For Miracle Marrow Matches.

Autumn Festival is included with general admission—$29.95 adult (12+), $26.95 senior (62+), $17.95 child (3-11), and free for children under age three and Aquarium members.
