Lecture date: April 23, 2019. Susan Kidwell discussed studying shells and other remnants of marine life to understand changes in species composition and abundance over time in Southern California.

Kidwell is the William Rainey Harper Professor in geophysical sciences and in the interdisciplinary graduate student training program, the Committee on Evolutionary Biology, at the University of Chicago.
