On November 18, 2023 the Aquarium will host the third annual Scholar Symposium. The program includes 5 minute “Lightning Talks” from the members of the 2023 cohort of African American scholars, and a panel of guest speakers representing various career paths related to STEM. High school students from Long Beach Unified School District, program supporters, and other members of the community will be attending the program in-person, but the public is invited to watch live or on-demand following the event.
