On September 27, 2025 the Aquarium will host the fifth annual Scholar Symposium. The program includes 2 sessions of 5 minute “Lightning Talks” from the fifteen members of the 2025 cohort of CELP Scholars. Scholars will present their science, their journey, and their aspirations as they move through marine science. High school students from Long Beach Unified School District, program supporters, and other members of the community will be attending the program in-person, but the public is invited to watch live or on-demand following the event.
