Join the Aquarium of the Pacific as we clean up our local beach.
Where:
- Independence Day Cleanup on July 5, 2026 from 9-11 AM at Junipero Beach (Long Beach, 90803)
- Back to school cleanup on August 22, 2026 from 9-11 AM at Alamitos Beach (Long Beach, 90802)
What to bring:
Please bring covered shoes, reusable water bottle (water refill stations available), hat/sunglasses and sunscreen. Parking will be provided during the event, and the code will be sent out the day before to all registrants. We will provide gloves, buckets, sifters, pickers and trash bags, but please feel free to bring your own if that is more comfortable for you.
All ages of volunteers are welcome. Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
