Even the Aquarium’s Animals Celebrate the Jolly Holidays by Receiving Holiday Treats December 8 and 9

Holiday Santa diver in Tropical Reef exhibit

November 2, 2018

Get into the holiday spirit early, and share the fun as the Aquarium’s animals receive their gifts from Santa Diver. In celebration of the holiday season, Santa Diver will deliver treats to the Aquarium of the Pacific’s penguins, sea otters, birds, fish, and other animals during Holiday Treats for the Animals weekend on Saturday and Sunday, December 8-9, 2018.

The sea otter exhibit will be decked out for the “sea”son with “fishmas” treats and a real snowman, and visitors can watch the otters savor candy cane-shaped lobster treats. Throughout the weekend Aquarium staff will give special gift delicacies to penguins, and other marine animals. The animals are not the only ones celebrating; families can enjoy holiday music, crafts, special presentations, unique photo opportunities, and shopping. Guests can also watch Santa Diver as he makes special appearances at the nearly three-story-tall Honda Blue Cavern exhibit, where he will dive with leopard sharks, , and other predators of the deep. To top it all off, snow will fall in the Aquarium’s Great Hall and kids can take photos with Santa.

Holiday Treats is included with general admission—$29.95 adult (12+), $26.95 senior (62+), $17.95 child (3-11), and free for children under age three and Aquarium members.
