Aquarium invites everyone to tune in to this free, live-streaming virtual event
March 10, 2021
Celebrating the amazing talents of children, this virtual festival features dance and music performances by kids representing a variety of international cultures. The International Children’s Day Festival will take place on Saturday, March 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pacific Time. The Aquarium will present its annual Young Hero Award at 3:15 p.m. to Diana Michaelson in recognition of her outstanding service to people and the planet. The Aquarium is a community gathering place where diverse cultures and the arts are celebrated. “Our International Children’s Festival is the culmination of all of our cultural festivals, where our various communities can come together to learn about the importance of working together to protect our ocean planet. This year, we will come together in a new way as this is the first time the festival will be a live-streaming event. Anyone from around the world can tune in to this free online event,” said Peter Martineau, Aquarium of the Pacific festival organizer. People are encouraged to celebrate the children in their lives and children around the world with this special annual event.
