Aquarium Offers Free Admission to SCUBA Divers During 16th Annual Divers Day

Guests can enjoy special dive-related presentations and demonstrations, and FREE Aquarium admission will be granted to certified divers on March 11, 2017.

Dive in to the Aquarium of the Pacific’s 16th annual Divers Day Festival on Saturday, March 11 to experience live dive demonstrations and to meet more than 11,000 animals. The diving community is also invited to explore volunteer diving opportunities in Southern California. Divers who show proof of certification with a photo I.D. will receive free admission.

During the event, the Long Beach Harbor Patrol Commercial Dive Unit will demonstrate surface-supplied diving techniques used to conduct underwater inspections of port facilities as well as locating and removing navigational hazards.

WHEN: Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

WHERE: Aquarium of the Pacific, 100 Aquarium Way, Long Beach, CA 90802

COST: Free for divers with proof of certification and photo I.D. and free for Aquarium members. Included with admission for the general public: $28.95 adult (12+), $25.95 senior (60+), $14.95 child (3-11), and free for children under 3.
