The public is invited to an elegant affair at the Aquarium of the Pacific’s annual black-tie fundraiser on June 10, 2017.

The Aquarium of the Pacific will host its black-tie Blue Whale Gala on Saturday, June 10, 2017. During the gala, the Aquarium will honor Dr. Marcia McNutt and Dr. Peter Kareiva with the prestigious Ocean Conservation Award. The award honors individuals, groups, or institutions for significant contributions to ocean conservation and environmental education.
Attendees of the elegant event will be greeted with cocktails overlooking Long Beach’s picturesque Rainbow Harbor. A gourmet dinner will be served beneath the majestic blue whale in the Aquarium’s Great Hall. Attendees will also be treated to dessert and a night of dancing under the stars. Proceeds benefit the nonprofit Aquarium’s ocean conservation and education initiatives.
When: Saturday, June 10, 2017, from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Cost: $500 per seat, and advance reservations are required (online reservations are not available for this event). Complimentary valet parking will be available.
