In the first episode of Coastal Conversations, a monthly live web series, Aquarium President and CEO Jerry Schubel discusses with three National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration experts the current state of affairs for coastal areas of the United States. Together they address what is at stake, who is responsible for coastal ocean management, what challenges and threats these areas face, and what is being done to address these challenges and threats.
Guest experts include Margaret Davidson, acting director of the NOAA Office of Coastal Resource Management; Louisa Koch, NOAA director of education; and Ralph Cantral, director of NOAA’s Coastal America partnership.
