Sales Associate, Seasonal

SUMMARY

We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals for seasonal Sales Associate positions at Pacific Collections, our fast-paced gift shop. The Sales Associate I is responsible for fulfilling a wide array of duties that include providing guests with exceptional customer service, operating registers at various retail locations within the Aquarium, stocking and displaying merchandise, and maintaining the cleanliness of all retail locations within the Aquarium. Individuals are expected to always interact with guests in a positive manner. They may be called upon to perform other tasks as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Always maintain the highest level of guest-friendly customer service.
• Serving guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Accurately operate register, including credit and cash transactions.
• Re-stock shelves as needed.
• Maintain the highest degree of cleanliness in store and stockroom.
• Maximize sales with suggestive selling techniques.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• PC knowledge
• Basic data entry skills
• Basic math skills
• Detail oriented

• Available during weekends and holidays
• Available to work a flexible schedule during hours of operation (9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. every day; late nights until 11:00 p.m.)
• Previous customer service experience preferred but not required
