Discovery Labs

Ever wonder what a sea anemone feels like? Find out at one of the Aquarium’s Discovery Labs.

Students will get a hands-on experience of tidepool animals including sea stars, anemones, sea cucumbers, urchins and more at the North Pacific Touch Lab. At Shark Lagoon and the Ray Pool, students will feel both tropical and local species of sharks and rays. While at the Aquarium’s Discovery Labs, students will use the Aquarium’s two finger touch rule to safely and gently interact with our animals.
