Aquarium to Host Blues and Jazz Concert Presented in Partnership with Long Beach Blues Society on February 15, 2020

WHAT: The Aquarium of the Pacific is launching a performing arts series in its Honda Pacific Visions Theater for 2020, taking advantage of the theater’s 300-seat capacity and features that enhance live performances. The first performance will take place on Saturday, February 15, when the Aquarium will present a concert in partnership with the Long Beach Blues Society featuring four jazz and blues bands in its state-of-the-art Honda Pacific Visions Theater. The acts will include Emcee Big Llou Johnson, Bernie Pearl feat. Sonny Green and THEE Blues Man, Al Williams Jazz Society feat. Barbara Morrison, Alvin Hayes Jr., and New Blues Revolution. Tickets include Aquarium admission, and the Aquarium will be open until 8:00 p.m.

The Aquarium’s new Honda Pacific Visions Theater features state-of-the-art audio, visual, and multisensory technology and a 133-foot long and 32-foot high screen with a floor projection disk.
