Aquarium Live:  The Aquarium’s Online Academy

The Aquarium of the Pacific is pleased to offer an Online Academy to bring our educational programming as well as fun and entertaining activities to the public during the current closure.

Here you will find both on-demand videos and activities for all ages and a schedule of interactive live programs with our educators, from virtual classroom sessions to Pacific Pals puppets. This page will be updated regularly with new content and live dates as they become available.​

Guest Speaker Series

Catch up on lectures at the Aquarium featuring scientists, artists, journalists, and Aquarium staff members.

A full archive dating back to 2010 is available on the website. Lectures cover a wide variety of topics, from ocean research and conservation to how we can use art to build connections to nature and among people. Each speaker also records a short Aquacast at the Aquarium, and this archive is also available on the website.

Seafood for the Future

The Aquarium’s Seafood for the Future program created a web series called Ocean to Table: Stories of Food, Farming, and Conservation.

Each video showcases a different ocean farm and different types of seafood, and includes cooking tips and recipes. Visit the Seafood for the Future YouTube channel for more seafood videos, including educational shorts on the environmental benefits of responsible seafood farming.
