Larry Mayer recorded this Aquacast at the Aquarium on August 29, 2013. Larry Mayer is a professor and the director of the Center for Coastal and Ocean Mapping at the University of New Hampshire.

Over the past fifty years there have been remarkable advances in using sonar to map the seafloor and the water column. These advances combine sophisticated sonar technology with advanced visualization tools and are providing new perspectives of the seafloor.
