Come experience the serenity of the Aquarium before it opens to the public with yoga in front of our three-story tall Honda Blue Cavern Habitat.
Stephanie Serrano has been instructing yoga for the past five years in a variety of class formats that serve students at all levels. She recently began her graduate coursework at Loyola Marymount University (LMU) to receive a master’s degree in yoga studies and is on the path to complete the degree in 2019. Through the master’s program, she has also begun work in yoga therapy and teaching a yoga course at LMU. The course offers undergraduate students the opportunity to study and experience the teachings of yoga in a more academic setting. She is currently conducting clinical research to encourage all universities to offer a course such as this to give students tools to manage stress and reduce anxiety. Her recent trip to India has inspired her to also work with students K-12 to encourage the importance of education and literature. Stephanie also is the studio manager of the new, Ra Yoga location at the Long Beach Exchange. Her passion for the healing properties of yoga is something that she loves to share and is extremely excited to offer the gift of yoga to the Aquarium of the Pacific.
