The Rise of SkyWaddler

It’s started long ago. In an Aquarium not so far away. Sea Otters wielding laser swords as part of a parody video. Years later, the penguins have their day.

From the day in 2003 when I first gave a sea otter a lightsaber as part of an intro video to a marine mammal conference the Aquarium of the Pacific was hosting, having the Aquarium critters do a little cosplay has become a hobby of mine. Of course it’s mainly via special effects added to photos and video, however, the critters do their part by posing in dramatic or comedic fashion as I take the shot.

This week it’s the penguin’s turn. Check out the short parody teaser video of The Rise of SkyWaddler.
