About the bands:

ECNO (8 p.m.)
Straight from the City of Hope, Mexico City, the band is on a mission to revolutionize the music industry and get people to dance to cumbia, mixing sounds of new wave, rock, and disco. Their faces are covered with “luchador” (wrestler) masks at all times, hiding the true identity of each group member of El Conjunto Nueva Ola (ECNO). Who are the masked men and what are their true identities? No one knows the answer yet, but the truth is that these “anonymous guys” have performed on the stages of top Hispanic television networks.

Sonsoles (9:15 p.m.)
With a global ensemble of musicians from Spain, Mexico, Los Angeles, Dominican Republic, and El Salvador, Sonsoles fuses a myriad of musical elements, ranging from rock, pop, reggaeton, salsa, and folk. Sonsoles was founded in the fall of 2006 in Los Angeles by founding members Steve Baltazar (keyboards) and Cesar Abrego (bass). Shortly thereafter, Spaniard Jóse Hernandez (guitar/vocals), a friend of the duo, also joined. Later, Lonnie Moreno (drums) became the 4th member, and with the recent addition of Delwin G. (rapper), the Sonsoles lineup is now cemented.
