WHAT: The Aquarium of the Pacific invites you to its 18th annual festival celebrating the creative talents of people with disabilities on January 30. During the free virtual Festival of Human Abilities, viewers can hear from and watch various live-streaming performances by talented artists with disabilities, including dance for all abilities, guitar, soul pop fusion music, and singing in sign language. The festival will also feature special videos showing adaptive SCUBA diving for people of various abilities, including those in wheelchairs, and adaptive painting demonstrations by artists with disabilities. The Aquarium of the Pacific will present its annual Glenn McIntyre Heritage Award to Infinite Flow Dance at 3:15 p.m. Pacific Time in recognition of their dedicated service to people with disabilities. All programming will have closed captioning for viewers who are deaf.
