Aquarium Offers New Class for Parents and Children, Ages 2 to 6

Starting January 20 the Aquarium is offering new Parent and Me classes on every third Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Parent and Me classes allow parents and children ages two to six to learn together through play, movement, and exploration. Participate in interactive activities, Aquarium tours, and creative crafts with other families. Topics will include otters, octopuses, penguins, and sharks.
Children will use their observation skills to explore shapes, colors, and textures while touching animals in a private classroom, touring Aquarium exhibits, and participating in hands-on activities related to the theme. After your class, revisit your favorite exhibits (Aquarium admission is included).
Prices are $19 per Aquarium member/child pair ($10 for additional guests), and $49 per non-member adult/child pair ($20 per additional guest). For dates and more information, visit the Parent and Me page. For reservations, call (562) 590-3100.
