Sea Otters Charlie and Brook are two of the original animals at the Aquarium of the Pacific. They were there when the aquarium first opened in 1998.
If you’ve ever wondered what these two 21-year-old sea otters looked like back then, check out this video of them during a 1998 training session with then mammologist and current assistant curator, Rob. And yes, Brook and Charlie were very cute back then.
In the beginning and end of the video, you’ll see Charlie and Brook as adults. Compare that with what they looked like as yearlings.
