Exploring the Deep Pacific: Dragonfish, Spookfish, and Other Unbelievable Animals
Bruce Robison will discuss recent discoveries made using both manned and robotic submersibles to explore the deep sea.
Featuring 11,000 animals in more than 50 exhibits. In addition to our animal exhibits, we have a variety of multimedia presentations on ocean science and important environmental topics. Throughout the year, we feature a public and member programs and events for adults, including our 18 and older evening events, senior day, behind the scene tours, photography nights, dive immersions, our urban ocean cruises, monthly guest speakers, adult sleepovers, and more.

The Aquarium of the Pacific hosted three sessions of its Aquatic Academy in February 2013. After presentations by speakers and discussion periods, Aquatic Academy participants compiled a plan to decarbonize society and reduce the impacts of climate change.
