How do scientists make discoveries? In this webcam kit, students are encouraged to think like scientists, by making observations, asking questions, and making predictions.

Meet a shark researcher and find out how she designed her research to learn about shark migrations and the tools she uses to gather information. Students can practice their observation skills as they watch our Shark Lagoon webcam and come up with their own study questions. A lesson outline, worksheets, and supplemental resources are also included to support student exploration.
