The majority of seafood in this country is consumed in restaurants. Each day, when chefs make their choices in the seafood they buy and serve, they have a tremendous opportunity to apply their talents, skills, and creativity to seafood sustainability and ocean conservation.
Seafood for the Future partners with restaurants, community organizations, as well as seafood producers and distributors to promote responsible seafood and to help consumers make the best choices.

- Full Partners - These restaurants are evaluated by Seafood for the Future and offer responsible seafood selections.
- Community Partners - Community partners are working with Seafood for the Future to participate in the conversation about sustainable seafood. Some are actively promoting or practicing responsible seafood sourcing and production, while others are working with SFF to incorporate responsible seafood messaging into their own mission-based programs.
- Producers and Distributors Partners - SFF partner distributors are committed to sourcing responsibly where they can and providing consumers with quality seafood. Some distributors work with SFF to create SFF approved sourcing lists for their customers. Others work with SFF on an advisory basis only. SFF producer partners are promoted if SFF determines they are in fact committed to farming or harvesting responsibly.
