The Aquarium of the Pacific has announced the appointment of Dr. Peter Kareiva as its new president and CEO beginning on August 1, 2020. Current President and CEO Dr. Jerry R. Schubel will retire from the Aquarium on July 31, 2020.

Visit 12,000 Animals and Explore the New Coral Reefs Exhibition at the Aquarium During Sunday Discounted Late Nights

Discounted Late Nights will be offered on Sundays through September 6.

Those who visit the Aquarium during Discounted Late Nights this summer will enter for just $19.95 per person between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. with required advance reservations and safety protocols in place.

Aquarium to Reopen to Members on Friday, June 12, and to the Public on Sunday, June 14

Safety is the nonprofit Aquarium of the Pacific’s top priority.

The Aquarium is limiting the number of visitors, requiring advance timed reservations for everyone, and managing traffic flow to ensure appropriate social distancing, among many other safety protocols.
