Aquarium Will Host Hollywood Producer David E. Kelley in Panel Discussion on Seafood and Conservation

Kelley, known for Big Little Lies, Ally McBeal, Boston Legal, and other hit TV shows, is also the owner of sustainable trout farming group, Riverence.

Kelley will join Aquarium President and CEO Dr. Jerry Schubel to discuss the role of responsible aquaculture in conservation. They will be joined by Dr. Halley Froehlich, assistant professor at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and Kimberly Thompson, director of the Aquarium’s Seafood for the Future program.

Experts on longevity, including researchers from Stanford University’s Center on Longevity, will share secrets to successful senior years as well as changing the narrative of a longer, more fulfilling, and perhaps somewhat less predictable life.

Aquarium President and CEO Dr. Jerry Schubel Announces Intention to Retire

Under his leadership the Aquarium has embraced its role as a science communicator, creating exhibits and programs to engage and inspire people in helping address global environmental issues such as climate change and biodiversity loss.

Dr. Schubel joined the Aquarium of the Pacific in 2002. He will remain in his current role while the Aquarium’s Board of Directors conducts a search for his replacement.

Aquarium’s Fifteenth Annual Southeast Asia Day Celebrates Vibrant Local Communities

Dance, music, and crafts from Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, and Myanmar transform the Aquarium into an international destination.

Rescued Sea Turtle to Return to the Wild After Receiving Veterinary Care from the Aquarium of the Pacific
