Bring the magic of the holiday SEAson to your home as you watch Santa dive with sharks, and see penguins and sea otters savor surprises during this virtual event.

WHAT: Get into the holiday spirit early and share the fun as the Aquarium’s animals receive their gifts. In celebration of the holiday season, Santa Diver will dive with sharks and other fish, and penguins, sea otters, birds, fish, and other animals will enjoy flavorful holiday delights at the Aquarium of the Pacific during the Holiday Treats for the Animals virtual event on Saturday, December 5.
The Aquarium will be decorated for the “sea”son, with holiday trees and other décor throughout the facility. The sea otter exhibit will be decked out with “fishmas” treats and real snow, and visitors can watch virtually as the otters savor their holiday treats. Aquarium staff members will give special gift treats to an octopus. A penguin will enjoy a holiday stroll. Lorikeets will gather on a tree decorated with tasty cranberries. Guests can also watch Santa Diver virtually as he makes a special appearance at the Tropical Reef Habitat, where he will dive with sharks and colorful fish. The sea lions will also receive holiday enrichment gifts.
The animals are not the only ones celebrating; families can enjoy holiday décor as they visit the Aquarium’s outdoor areas with advance reservations. Plus, get a start on holiday shopping at the Aquarium’s gift stores, which feature marine-related gifts. Special gifts like experiences with animals, memberships, and Adopt-an-Animal certificates are also available by calling the Aquarium.
