Enjoy performances by a children’s choir and martial arts demonstrations. Kids of all ages can participate in an international percussion circle, Japanese origami, Native American crafts, and Pacific Islander traditional children’s games. The Aquarium is a community gathering place where diverse cultures and the arts are celebrated. “Our International Children’s Festival is the culmination of all of our cultural festivals, where our various communities can come together to learn about the importance of working together to protect our ocean planet,” said Peter Martineau, Aquarium of the Pacific festival organizer. People are encouraged to celebrate the children in their lives and children around the world with this special annual event.
