Ocean Conservation Awards Gala

The Aquarium of the Pacific is proud to announce that producer Janet Zucker and writer/director Jerry Zucker will be honored at our upcoming Ocean Conservation Awards Gala on Saturday, June 12, 2010.

Janet and Jerry have been producing, writing, and directing for over two decades including the films, Ghost, Airplane!, Rat Race, Ruthless People, Naked Gun and First Knight.

Janet and Jerry Zucker are also Vice Chairs of The Science & Entertainment Exchange—a program established to connect entertainment industry professionals with top scientists and engineers. The Aquarium of the Pacific looks forward to providing a “bridge” between these two communities, which would be very valuable in promoting the public understanding of ocean and earth system science.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 12, 2010, as you won’t want to miss this special evening of old Hollywood glamour, fine dining, and a “night at the movies”.
