How Does “NOAA” Protect Our Planet?

- Meet TERRI the robot at the next NOAA and Our Planet Day to learn about how you can protect the ocean.
Find out what the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) does for you, our nation, and our world at this annual event.
Visit the aquarium to learn how NOAA, a government agency, works to understand and predict changes in earth’s environment and conserve and manage coastal and marine resources. Explore and interact with the science zone, talk with TERRI the Robot while learning about NOAA, watch a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) in action, view award winning NOAA films, enjoy a puppet show on ocean conservation, explore NOAA Science Zone with 12 interactive exhibits, check out the Wyland Foundation Mobile Learning Center, help paint a mural and make a pledge to protect the ocean, learn how NOAA protects ocean life, and get the facts on climate change!
