Aquarium Event
Festival of Human Abilities
Celebrate the Creative Spirit
Experience a celebration of the creative spirit at our annual Festival of Human Abilities. Through this multi-faceted event, the Aquarium bridges the gap between those people who are able-bodied and those with a disability. Featuring dance, music, storytelling, demonstrations, and interactive displays, the festival will give guests the opportunity to enjoy a number of performances that showcase the talents of people from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Wheelchair dance, live music, signing choirs, art demonstrations, storytelling, service dog demonstrations, and other creative performances will be featured by people who have disabilities. Sign language interpreters will be present at all major shows and an audio tour is available for those who are blind.
