23rd California Coastal Cleanup

Make a Difference in Our Community and Ocean

The California Coastal Cleanup is a statewide effort to preserve our beaches and ocean. Every person that participates in this monumental beach cleanup makes a difference in ensuring a healthy future for our ocean and marine life. As stewards of the ocean in the Southern California community, Aquarium members and friends are encouraged to participate in this important effort.

Volunteers from across the state will clean beaches from over 700 locations stretching from San Diego to the Oregon border, as well as along lakes, creeks, rivers, and other bodies of water. The Aquarium will host a site for the beach cleanup at Alamitos Beach in Long Beach. Cleaning supplies will be provided. To find the Aquarium’s site or the one closest to you, please call the California Coastal Commission at 1-800-COAST-4U (1-800-262-7848).
