The Aquarium is offering opportunities for individuals to support the Online Academy, which provides innovative learning opportunities for students in pre-kindergarten to twelfth grade, as well as curated content for adults.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, students and families across the country have had to adjust to remote-learning, as homes become classrooms and parents become teachers. In mid-March, the Aquarium launched the Online Academy, a free resource with a rich library of online programming, including live classroom sessions, Pacific Pals puppets, and lectures.
With over 800,000 visitors in the first month, the Online Academy is a far-reaching tool that brings environmental education and ocean science learning into the home. You can support the Aquarium’s efforts to provide free, enriching, educational programs by sponsoring the Online Academy!
