Lieutenant Commander Angelina Hidalgo is currently the assistant chief of Law Enforcement at Coast Guard Sector Los Angeles-Long Beach, California. Specifically, she coordinates Coast Guard law enforcement efforts in the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach to include the surrounding harbors and marinas. She served as the strategic planner and scheduler for Admiral Allen in his capacity as the National Incident Commander for Deepwater Horizon Response efforts on the Gulf coast.
The Aquarium of the Pacific hosted a forum called “After the Gulf: What Did We Learn?” on October 21 and 22, 2010.
