California State Lands Commission Offshore Safety and Pollution Prevention Program
Greg Scott is the division chief of the California State Lands Commission’s Mineral Resources Management Division located in Long Beach, California. Scott has spent over twenty years with the State Lands Commission overseeing oil and gas activities on offshore state leases in the Southern and Central California coastal areas. He is responsible for the protection of the state’s mineral resources and for the development of safety and pollution prevention programs that minimize the risks associated with development of those mineral resources.
The Aquarium of the Pacific hosted a forum called “After the Gulf: What Did We Learn?” on October 21 and 22, 2010.
