BP Macondo Tragedy: What We’ve Learned
J. Ford Brett is managing director of PetroSkills, the world’s largest petroleum training organization. Prior to joining OGCI, worked on drilling projects with Amoco Production Co. in the Bering Sea, North Slope of Alaska, Gulf of Mexico, offshore Trinidad, and Wyoming. In 1996 Brett and Tommy M. Warren, co-inventor, were honored for their work on improved drilling techniques with a nomination for the National Medal of Technology. Brett has consulted in the area of technical and drilling project management in over thirty-five countries.
The Aquarium of the Pacific hosted a forum called “After the Gulf: What Did We Learn?” on October 21 and 22, 2010.
