Mr. Thomas Turney

Thomas W. Turney is an investment banker with NewCap Partners, Inc., a Los Angeles-based investment bank specializing in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and corporate finance transactions in the greater China region. Turney has been with NewCap Partners, Inc. since its founding in 1987.

Prior to joining NewCap Partners, Turney worked in a similar capacity for Hambrecht & Quist, a San Francisco-based investment bank. He also worked at Security Pacific Bank where he was responsible for the banks lending activities to high technology companies. Turney has been involved in a wide variety of transactions ranging from venture capital through public offerings as well as many private and public company mergers and acquisitions. He has master’s degree in economics and an MBA from the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree in economics from UCLA.

Turney currently serves on the boards of The Olson Company, M.C. Gill Corporation, Mark IV Capital Inc., King’s Seafood Company, and the Aquarium of the Pacific.
