Dr. William Reeburgh

Dr. William Reeburgh received his bachelor’s of science degree in chemistry from the University of Oklahoma in 1961, and master’s and Ph.D. degrees in oceanography from Johns Hopkins University in 1964 and 1967. Before joining the University of California, Irvine faculty he was professor of marine science at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. He is the editor of the American Geophysical Union journal, Global Biogeochemical Cycles. His work is sponsored by the National Science Foundation, Environmental Protection Agency, NASA and the Department of Energy.
