Do you know how to make healthy and responsible seafood choices?
Join us for an afternoon in the Ocean Theater as we dive into the topic of sustainable seafood with Aquarium partners Chef Ken Stewart of SAVOR and Kim Thompson, program manager of Seafood for the Future, the Aquarium’s non-profit seafood advisory program. There is more to responsible choices than just asking, “Which fish should I eat?” Fish are managed according to where they are found and how they are caught, or in the case of aquaculture, by the species and method of production. Thompson will share her insights into this fascinating topic and discuss which sustainable fish are best to eat throughout various seasons of the year.
Chef Stewart will then delight you with a special cooking demonstration featuring sustainable seafood and share some of his inside culinary tips as to how you can prepare a delectable seafood dish. This will be a mouth-watering afternoon you won’t want to miss.
