Laurent Ballesta
Diver and underwater photographer Laurent Ballesta is a pioneer in photographing marine life of the deep sea. In this lecture, he will discuss his expeditions and innovative diving methods, focusing on his successful 2010 expedition to photograph and research the coelacanth, a rare fish known as a “living fossil” and found primarily off the coast of Africa. These photos were published in National Geographic magazine in 2011.
