Long Beach Opera
The Aquarium of the Pacific is kicking off its Pacific Visions performing arts season with performances of Peter Maxwell Davies’ The Lighthouse by Long Beach Opera. Part ghost story, part psychological drama, this opera is based on the true story of three lighthouse keepers who disappeared mysteriously from a remote Scottish lighthouse in 1900. This performance will take place in the Aquarium’s new Honda Pacific Visions Theater, which features state-of-the-art audio, visual, and multisensory technology and a 133-foot long and 32-foot high screen with a floor projection disk.
The performance will be sung in English with English supertitles.
