Mark Plotkin
Mark Plotkin has spent much of the past thirty years working with medicine men and women of the rainforests. Dr. Plotkin and the Amazon Conservation Team are working with these healers to protect the rainforests and their healing secrets.
Dr. Plotkin is an ethnobotanist and the author of several books, including Tales of a Shaman’s Apprentice. He will be signing copies after the lecture. He is the president of the Amazon Conservation Team, a nonprofit organization he founded in 1996.
