Project: Southern Tier, An Environmental Bicycle Documentary Series

Jeff Hyland

Film producer Jeff Hyland will screen a portion of his four-part documentary film series Project: Southern Tier. His presentation will focus on ocean-related issues covered in part four of the series, which documented a cross-country bicycle ride through the southern tier of the United States. The film series addresses important topics related to the environment and how those issues impact human health. There will be a question-and-answer session with Hyland after the film.

Hyland was raised in Southern California swimming, playing water polo, snorkeling, and SCUBA diving. He earned a degree in cinema and technical theatre at San Francisco State University and spent a year in Central and South America, where he developed his passion for environmental change.
